Patrick was born, and grew up, in the San Francisco Bay Area. He played many sports as a kid including competitive soccer, football, and basketball. In 2021, Patrick moved with his family to San Diego, where he enrolled at Cathedral Catholic High School. For his Freshman year he starred for the Championship winning JV basketball team and led the Championship winning Football team as QB. His sophomore year Patrick was named Player of the Year as QB of the Championship winning JV Football team and played for the Varsity Basketball team.
For his career, as the team captain and point guard, along with leading his team in almost all statistical catagories, Patrick led his team to two CIF Open Division playoffs and a final four appearance. For both his junior and senior seasons he was named All-CIF First team, All-State, All-League First team, All-Tournament, registered several triple doubles, and had multiple 30+ point games. Patrick also led Gamepoint’s top AAU team, which he’s led since 8th grade, and – based on their success – was promoted to the prestigious Adidas 3SSB circuit. Although Patrick’s last AAU season was cut short by an injury, he led the team in scoring.
Patrick’s father is a senior executive for early stage software companies. His mother, who is from Brazil and a lawyer, has focused on making a loving and nurturing home. He has two older sisters, both star athletes in their own right. His oldest sister, a high school Athlete of the Year and UCSB graduate, now works in Private Equity in LA. His middle sister also graduated from UC Santa Barbara where she received a full-ride and was an all conference defender for the Gauchos D1 Soccer team. Ask Patrick about the “baller of the week” award in his family.
He is a very social kid, so when he’s not focusing on sports or school, he likes to hang out with his friends. They might go to the beach, play golf, rap, or lift weights.
Patrick aims to excel for a D1 team in college. After his sports career is over, he says he’s going to be a “successful businessman.” He hasn’t quite worked out the details of that part yet.
